Association between soft drink consumption and asthma among Qatari adults

This cross-sectional study was undertaken to evaluate the association between soft drink consumption and asthma and lung function among 986 adults in Qatar. Pulmonary function endpoints included FEV1 and FVC, and were measured using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
