Associations of genetic risk and smoking with incident COPD

This study examined the association between polygenic risk scores and incident COPD, as well as the effect of smoking behaviors on such an association, in 439,255 subjects enrolled in the UK Biobank. As part of the UK Biobank study, pulmonary function was measured using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
