Burden of obstructive lung disease study in Iran: First report of the prevalence and risk factors of copd in five provinces

This study was undertaken to examine the prevalence, causes of and risk factors for COPD in a sample of 1065 individuals from five provinces in Iran. Lung function endpoints (pre- and post-bronchodilator FEV1, FEV6, FVC) were measured using a Vitalograph In2itive spirometer.
