Causal effects of lung function on brain cortical structure and subcortical structure: A two-sample univariate and multivariate Mendelian randomization study

This Mendelian randomization study explored the causal relationship between lung function and brain cortical and subcortical structures. As part of the study, summary statistics for FEV1 and FVC were obtained from 421,986 individuals enrolled in the UK Biobank, in which lung function was assessed using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
