This study evaluated the feasibility of a stair climbing test for the assessment of cardiorespiratory fitness in 922 children in a non-clinical setting. Study endpoints included FEV1 and PEF, which were measured at rest and 5 minutes after completing the stair climbing test using a Vitalograph Asma-1 peak flow meter.
