Increased fraction of exhaled nitric oxide predicts new-onset wheeze in a general population

Disease Areas:
Population study
Device Types:
Wedge Bellows

This study examined whether increased levels of FeNO predicted later onset of wheeze in 2,200 individuals aged 25–75 years enrolled in a population-based study in Sweden. FeNO was measured using a NIOX chemiluminescence analyzer, while lung function was measured using a Vitalograph wedge bellows spirometer.
