Antibiotic therapy for pulmonary exacerbations in cystic fibrosis–A single-centre prospective observational study

This prospective, single center study evaluated treatment outcomes in 96 pediatric and adult patients with cystic fibrosis who received oral and/or intravenous antibiotic therapy for the management of bronchopulmonary exacerbations. As part of the study, patients underwent lung function testing (FEV1) at home using the Vitalograph Asma-1 respiratory monitor.
