Association between household air pollution exposure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease outcomes in 13 low- and middle-income country settings

This pooled analysis of five population-based studies aimed to examine the association between household air pollution exposure and COPD outcomes in 12,396 adults living in 13 resource-poor settings in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. In one of the studies, lung function testing was undertaken using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
