Burden of obstructive lung disease in Iran: Prevalence and risk factors for COPD in North of Iran

This study was undertaken to describe the prevalence, clinical characteristics, severity, and management of COPD in Mazandaran Province, northern Iran; overall, 1007 participants were evaluated. Spirometry was undertaken using the Vitalograph In2itive device; lung endpoints included pre‑ and post-bronchodilator FEV1, FEV6 and FVC.
