This study examined the relationship between menopause-dependent lung function decline and childhood lung function in 506 women enrolled in a birth cohort in Tasmania, Australia. Lung function in childhood (FEV1, FVC) was assessed using a Vitalograph wedge bellows spirometer when participants were aged 7 years.
