Effect of intensive exercise on lung volumes: Athlete versus non-athlete children

This cross-sectional study evaluated lung volumes among child and adolescent athletes and non-athletes aged 7–18 years in Karachi, Pakistan. Spirometric testing (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF, FEF25–75) was undertaken using the Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
