This study compared the effects of central apneas on sympathovagal balance and night-time hemodynamics in ten patients with and without systolic heart failure. As part of the study, participants underwent standard lung function testing (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/VC ratio, PEF) using a Vitalograph spirometer.
