Investigation of malnutrition, sarcopenia and frailty in middle-aged and older people aged 50 years and above using UK Biobank

This study examined the relationship between malnutrition, frailty, and sarcopenia in middle-aged and older populations, based on data derived from 384,609 individuals enrolled in the UK Biobank. Participants in the UK Biobank underwent a series of physical measurements, which included lung function testing using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer fitted with a new disposable mouthpiece.
