This study used data from UK Biobank participants to examine both the independent and combined associations of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentrations and body mass index with phenotypic age (n=389,217) and biological age (n=329,561). Biological age was estimated using nine biomarkers, including FEV1, which was measured at the UK Biobank baseline assessment using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
