Multifaceted associations between walking performance, physical fitness, extremity function, health status, and depression in individuals with COPD

This cross-sectional, observational study evaluated the predictive effect of various factors (eg depressive symptoms, health status, upper and lower extremity function, fitness) on walking performance in 70 patients with COPD. As part of the study, lung function testing (FEV1, FVC) was undertaken using a Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
