Relationship between pulmonary function test and sputum inflammatory cells in adult asthmatic patients

This cross-sectional study investigated sputum inflammatory cell indices and their relationship with disease severity and PFT outcomes in 140 adult patients with asthma in Pakistan. Pulmonary function endpoints included FEV1 and FVC, and were measured using a Vitalograph COMPACT spirometer.
