10.1183/23120541.01190-2025This study examined the association between small airways obstruction and the incidence of cardiovascular disease, using data from 10,480 UK Biobank participants. Small airways obstruction was diagnosed based on pre-bronchodilator spirometry data (FEV1, FVC, FEV3, FEV6, FEF25–75, FEV3/FEV6 ratio, FEV1/FEV6 ratio) collected using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
