In January, Dr MeiLan Han, MD, MS, was named the first female Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care in the University of Michigan’s history and one of few female chiefs of critical care in the nation. She is also a Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Michigan. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Han has also completed a Master’s Degree program in Biostatistics and Clinical Study Design at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
