Reference lung function of Nigerian school-age children measured with electronic peak flow meter: Comparison with local and Global-Lung-Initiative equations

This cross-sectional study examined PEF and FEV1 values in 766 healthy Nigerian school children aged 6–11 years, including the suitability of local and GLI reference equations in this population. PEF and FEV1 measurements were obtained using the Vitalograph Asma-1 electronic respiratory monitor.
