Results of the randomized Randomized Danish Lung Cancer Screening Trial with focus on high-risk profiling

This randomized, controlled trial examined the effects, benefits, and harms of annual screening for lung cancer using low-dose CT, as compared with no screening, in 4104 current and former smokers aged 50–70 years in Denmark. As part of the study, participants underwent annual lung function testing using a Vitalograph spirometer with Spirotrac software.
