This study examined the association between lifetime job history and COPD in 94,551 subjects participating in the population-based UK Biobank cohort. Lung function was assessed using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer in combination with Spirotrac software, which compared the reproducibility of each blow in order to provide two reproducible maneuvers.
