Association between cardiovascular disease- and inflammation-related serum biomarkers and poor lung function in elderly

This study evaluated the association between cardiovascular disease, inflammation, and lung function in 611 individuals aged 60–93 years enrolled in a longitudinal population study in Sweden. As part of the study, lung function testing was undertaken using a calibrated Vitalograph In2itive electronic flow volume spirometer with Spirotrac software.
