Decreased fraction of exhaled nitric oxide in obese subjects with asthma symptoms: Data from the population study INTERGENE/ADONIX

This study assessed whether obese and non-obese subjects with asthma symptoms have a different asthma phenotype; overall, 2187 subjects participated in the study. Endpoints of interest included anthropometric measures, bioelectric impedance, FeNO, lung function, respiratory symptoms, and IgE levels. Spirometry was performed using a Vitalograph dry wedge spirometer.
