Inter- and intra-session variability of the VitaloROV+ and VitaloLAB pulmonary function testing equipment in healthy volunteers

This study evaluated the inter- and intra-session performance of the VitaloLAB and VitaloROV+ pulmonary function testing systems, by measuring variability in test results for DLco in 8 healthy male and female volunteers. The authors concluded that the systems provided "consistent and comparable results over successive maneuvers, reducing the need for multiple tests where devices are located in different departments or institutions".
