Lungs function in relation to exposure to cotton dust in a hosiery section of a textiles plant in Punjab, Pakistan

This cross-sectional study examined the effects of cotton dust on the respiratory health of 287 workers employed in the hosiery section of a textiles plant in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As part of the study, lung function testing (FEV1, VC, FVC) was undertaken using a calibrated Vitalograph In2itive spirometer with Spirotrac V software.
