Prevalence of altering selected spirometry maneuvers in asthma clinical trials

This study evaluated the prevalence of changes made to maneuver acceptability by an over-reader, following site-based spirometric testing in patients with asthma. Data from three asthma clinical trials were analyzed, with changes in maneuver acceptability recorded when the over-reader accepted a test session that was originally rejected by the site, or vice versa.
