Short-term effects of carbonaceous components in PM2.5 on pulmonary function: A panel study of 37 Chinese healthy adults

This study examined the health effects of indoor/outdoor carbonaceous compositions in particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter ≤2.5µm on pulmonary function in 37 healthy students living at a local university campus in Wuhan, China. FEV1 and PEF were measured in the morning and evening for four two-week periods using a calibrated Vitalograph In2itive e-Diary.
