This case-control study compared diaphragm function, respiratory muscle strength, and pulmonary function in patients with chronic neck pain (n=25) versus healthy adults (n=29). Lung function testing (FEV1, FVC) was undertaken using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
