Disease Areas:
COPD
Device Types:
COPD-6, 4000 series

The study examined the accuracy and associated costs of various screening tests (administered alone or in combination), as compared with diagnostic spirometry, for detecting undiagnosed COPD in a sample of 1162 hypertensive patients aged ≥40 years in a primary care setting in Brazil. Screening tests included use of the Vitalograph COPD-6 electronic respiratory monitor, which was used to detect an FEV1/FEV6 ratio of <0.78.
