Exacerbation recovery patterns in newly diagnosed or maintenance treatment-naive patients with COPD: Secondary analyses of TICARI 1 trial data

This study evaluated the course of acute exacerbations in newly diagnosed or maintenance treatment-naïve COPD patients. Endpoints of interest included EXACT-PRO score, FEV1, rescue medication usage, CAT score, FACIT–SF score, and WPAI:RS score. Patients measured and recorded PEF and FEV1 each evening using the Vitalograph In2itive e-Diary; patients also used the e-Diary to record study medication adherence and rescue medication usage on a daily basis.
