Examining patterns of multimorbidity, polypharmacy and risk of adverse drug reactions in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: A cross-sectional UK Biobank study

This cross-sectional study examined multimorbidity, polypharmacy, and risk of adverse drug reactions in 502,640 individuals aged 37–73 years with and without self-reported COPD who were enrolled in the UK Biobank. As part of the study, physical measures were taken from participants; this included measures of lung function, assessed using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
