Predictors of accelerated FEV1 decline in adults with airflow limitation - Findings from the Health2006 cohort

This study aimed to identify predictors of accelerated decline in FEV1 over a 10-year period in 313 adult subjects with airflow limitation. Endpoints of interest included self-reported health and well-being, anthropometric measures, fitness level, sensitization to specific aeroallergens, lung function, and FeNO. Pulmonary testing at follow-up was undertaken using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer. FeNO was measured using the NIOX MINO device.
