Prevalence, risk factors, and clinical implications of preserved ratio impaired spirometry: A UK Biobank cohort analysis

This study evaluated the prevalence, risk factors, clinical implications, and mortality of PRISm over a mean follow-up period of 9.0 years in 351,874 individuals aged 40–69 years enrolled in the UK Biobank. Lung function data (FEV1 and FVC) were obtained using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
