AlphaThis cross-sectional study examined the pulmonary function of 86 adult male woodworkers exposed to mixed tropical hardwood, as compared with 89 non-woodworkers, in Kumasi, Ghana. As part of the study, lung function testing (VC, FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF) was undertaken using a calibrated Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
