Relative and absolute lung function change in a general population aged 60-102 years

This longitudinal study examined absolute and relative FEV1 and FVC change in a population-based sample of 3736 geriatric subjects aged 60–102 years; overall, 6932 spirometric measurements were collected. Lung function testing was performed using a calibrated Vitalograph In2itive spirometer using Spirotrac software.
