The use of the Vitalograph COPD-6 device as a point-of-care screening tool for COPD in resource-limited settings

This study examined the accuracy and reliability of the Vitalograph COPD-6 device as a tool for screening for COPD (FEV1/FEV6 ratio <0.8). Screening was undertaken in 298 subjects undergoing an annual health check-up, while FEV1 repeatability was examined in 11 volunteers who were tested over 10 consecutive days.
