This study evaluated how measurement device type and expiratory manoeuvre technique influence peak expiratory flow (PEF) values. The Vitalograph "Spirotach III" spirometer was cited in prior comparative research examining differences in PEF measurements between spirometers and peak flow meters, highlighting device-related variability in PEF assessment.
