The effect of trait self-control on dyspnoea and tolerance to a CO2 rebreathing challenge in healthy males and females

Disease Areas:
Other
Device Types:
Pneumotrac, Spirotrac

This study examined whether trait self-control affected the response to evoked dyspnea during a hypercapnic rebreathing challenge in 66 male and female subjects. As part of the study, all subjects underwent baseline lung function testing using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer; those with an FEV1/FVC ratio <70% were excluded from participating in the study.
