This two-part study examined the relationship between pulmonary function and Alzheimer’s disease. Part one of the study comprised a prospective cohort analysis, which examined lung function data (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF) obtained from 333,816 participants enrolled in the UK Biobank using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
