Effects of tailored exercise on glycemic and nutritional outcomes in diabetic patients with colorectal cancer and on chemotherapy

This retrospective study investigated the effects of individualized exercise training on glycemic control and nutritional status in 245 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were receiving chemotherapy for the treatment of colorectal cancer. Study outcomes included respiratory rate and depth, which were measured using a portable Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
