This study examined the risk of developing lung cancer among individuals with PRISm, normal spirometry, or mild to moderate-to-severe COPD, using data from 267,222 UK Biobank participants with no prior history of cancer. Spirometric measurements used in the analysis (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio) were obtained at a baseline visit using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
