Deep transfer learning for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease detection utilizing electrocardiogram signals

This study examined the feasibility of using deep transfer learning frameworks to detect COPD based on ECG data. Included subjects (n=12) were classified as healthy or having COPD based on lung function data (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio), which was collected using a Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
