This study evaluated the criterion-validity of structured light plethysmography versus respiratory inductive plethysmography at rest and following submaximal exercise in 50 adult volunteers. Lung function parameters (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio) were recorded as part of the study, with measurements obtained using the Vitalograph Alpha spirometer.
