Air pollution associated with cardiopulmonary disease and mortality among participants with preserved ratio impaired spirometry

Disease Areas:
Population study
Device Types:
Spirotrac,Pneumotrac

This study investigated the relationship between air pollutants, cardiopulmonary disease, and mortality in 36,149 participants with PRISm enrolled in the UK Biobank. Lung function data (FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio) were based on pre-bronchodilator spirometric testing, which was undertaken using the Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
