Ambient air pollution, low-grade inflammation, and lung function: Evidences from the UK Biobank

This study examined the association between ambient air pollution, low-grade inflammation, and lung function in 276,289 adults enrolled in the UK Biobank. Lung function parameters (FEV1, FVC) were based on spirometric testing undertaken using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer.
