Pulmonary function and respiratory symptoms in workers exposed to respirable silica dust: A historical cohort study

This historical cohort study evaluated pulmonary function in 381 workers exposed to various levels of silica dust, as compared with 254 non-exposed workers. As part of the study, lung function testing in non-exposed workers was undertaken using the Vitalograph COMPACT spirometer.
