Association of lung function with benzene, toluene and xylenes (Btx) in end-exhaled air in gas station attendants

This study evaluated spirometry parameters in gas station attendants exposed to benzene, toluene and xylenes (n=20), as compared with office workers (n=11), in Gampaha district, Sri Lanka. Spirometric measurements (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC ratio, PEF, FEF25–75) were obtained using the Vitalograph Alpha device.
