Case-finding of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with questionnaire, peak flow measurements and spirometry: A cross-sectional study

This cross-sectional study evaluated the value of PEF as a screening tool for COPD, as compared with spirometry, in a sample of 577 individuals aged 40–80 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Pre-bronchodilator spirometry was performed using a calibrated Vitalograph Alpha device.
