Occupational asthma in the salmon processing industry: A case series

This study examined symptom presentation, exposure scenarios, and immunological findings in 36 salmon processing workers with occupational asthma. As part of the study, a subset of participants undertook serial self-measurements of PEF using an automatic logging Vitalograph Asma-1 electronic respiratory monitor. Tests were conducted over a period of approximately 4 weeks, and were performed every 2 hours from the time the participants woke up until the time they went to bed.
