Detection of airflow limitation using a handheld spirometer in a primary care setting

This cross-sectional study examined the prevalence of airflow limitation using a handheld spirometer in 437 individuals aged ≥40 years with a smoking history of >10 pack-years in a primary care setting in Malaysia. Handheld spirometry was performed using the Vitalograph COPD-6 device, followed by formal spirometry testing.
